About Me
“Capturing beautiful moments through photography has been a passion for as long as I can remember.”
From a keen youngster exploring Kodachrome, to a printer for a photographic company my career has taken me onto cruise ships and across the world. I have used more cameras than I care to count ranging from 35mm to 10x8 and created many thousands of images over that time.
Photographic inspirations include Bill Brandt, Henri Cartier-Bresson and the war photography of Don McCullin. Lately, I’ve been impressed by the landscape work of Joe Cornish, Simon Baxter and Mark Littlejohn, all masters of the craft.
Reducing my hours as a primary school teacher (which I have been working as for the last 13 years) this website will accompany my journey as a professional landscape photographer. Share my journey via my blog and by following me on my YouTube channel. There will be videos for you to enjoy every Sunday. I hope you enjoy my adventures, wherever they take me.
Plant a Tree.
We must protect our wooded and wild areas, they are perfect for improving our mental health and well-being, produce clean air for us to breath and allow nature to thrive. For me they are the perfect place to be as long as we ‘leave no trace’.
For every print purchased I will donate 10% to the Plant a Tree initiative with the National Trust in England. This will ensure that we can breath clean air and enjoy beautiful woodland for years to come. If you would like to donate without buying a print please use the button below.
One tree could remove one tonne of CO2 from the atmosphere during it’s lifetime so every tree helps.
Thank you.
All of my photography is now digital. I sell limited editions of my portfolio images through this website.
Over the years I have completed many commercial assignments for, among others, the BBC, Cable & Wireless and Lancaster garages.
I only now complete work that interests me. If you have an interesting project that you need a quote for, please contact me via the contact form.
