Camera Club Talks

Fourteen years as a teacher means that I am very comfortable standing in front of an audience.

I have been a guest speaker at many camera clubs and photographic societies over the years and currently offer two talks. The first one is entitled ‘Land, Sea and Air’ which looks at my landscapes and seascapes in the first half and aerial shots with the drone for the second. I will bring one of my drones along and talk your members through how and why you should use one.

I have now written a second talk which I am very proud called ‘Can’t see the wood for the trees.’ This features images you will see on my YouTube channel mostly featuring woodland photography. I talk about using composition, colour and conditions to make sense of the chaos of woodland. If there is time I will also demo how I edit using LR and introduce you to Luminar Neo and Dehancer as plug-ins.

Dave,

Every week I learn something valuable from presenters.  Tonight was for me another level.

You are an outstanding photographer, engaging presenter and totally inspirational.

Thank you.
