Derelict Barn - Derbyshire
There are lots of these abandoned barns? structures? sheds? in areas of England. Generally these are areas where sheep farming is prolific so I guess it’s to do with that. I love these derelict buildings though as they make interesting subjects. The dereliction suggests that nature is reclaiming it, just as it always does.
I tried to shoot this image at sunset the previous evening but the sky didn’t develop and I went home disappointed and frustrated. However, the next morning before sunrise I was excited to see mist. This was taken at that magical time before the sun had fully risen (which would spoil the mood).
