Wily Lotts Cottage, Flatford

from £75.00

This National Trust building is the house in the painting of ‘The Haywain’ by John Constable. A great, great etc grandad of mine is apparently the boy drinking from the stream in ‘The Cornfield’. We have traced our family history back and John Constable actually mentions him as being a friend in his diaries so I think it may be true. I spent many years as a teenager wandering around here fishing for Chub. This was taken on a very tranquil afternoon in summer. Focus stacked three images.
